Exciting news! Lyra is delighted to share that we have been chosen as the International Charity partner of Softcat. Softcat is a leading provider of technology solutions and services to organizations in both private companies and public sector organizations in the UK and Ireland. They provide asset management, business intelligence & analytics, collaboration, commodity sourcing, datacenter, end user computing & mobility, networking & security, software licensing and IT services.

This exciting news was revealed at the Softcat charity Ball, which was attended by over 900 Softcat employees and corporate partners. Softcat raised £389,000 at the Charity Ball that will be shared between Lyra in Africa, a national UK charity as well distributed across their regional office charities.

“I have worked with Lyra in Africa for almost as long as I have worked for Softcat, and I can't put into words the joy I get from supporting such a worthy cause” Debbie, Softcat

For those who didn't make the ball, below is the video that was shared to introduce Lyra to the Softcat community https://lnkd.in/eSv8mHPY

Lyra has been working with Softcat on a pro bono basis for the last 18 months, which has enabled Lyra to take significant steps forward with key projects. We are thrilled to have this partnership formalized by officially becoming their chosen international Charity Partner for at least the next three years

“Working with Softcat has opened up access to an army of proactive, committed individuals. They really get it and are fully aligned with what we’re hoping to achieve,”  Katy Sklan, Lyra COO.
