A Milestone for Education in Zanzibar.
On 16th September 2025, marked the successful launch of the EdTech Community of Practice (CoP) in Zanzibar.
The launch of the EdTech COp was attended by key stakeholders for 10 secondary schools in Zanzibar including board members, students and teachers, coming together to create a peer learning platform where challenges and solutions for digital education can be exchanged.
Together, participants explored the CoP model, defined roles and responsibilities, and took an important step forward by selecting the Zanzibar Regional CoP Leadership Team, who will serve a three-year term with the possibility of re-election.
This milestone marks the beginning of a collaborative journey to strengthen inclusive EdTech, knowledge-sharing, and impact in education across the region.
