In a transformative step toward digital inclusion for rural schools, Lyra’s amazing corporate partners  Softcat and GreenSafe IT have sourced and refurbished IT equipment for 10 rural secondary schools, destined for the Dodoma region in Tanzania. The TechConnect Container is now being loaded onto a ship in the UK and will reach Tanzania early September.

Finally, We're beyond excited to share that, our TechConnect Container arrived safely in Dar Es Salaam!

The containers are packed with IT tools and computers, ready to be transformed into Learning Labs for schools in rural Tanzania, benefiting 10 rural schools and over 6,000 students and teachers in Dodoma region.

By bringing technology into rural communities, we are investing in teacher training, community activities and students through digital tools. a transformation from chalkboards into whiteboards and a global world.

A huge thank you to our amazing partners GreenSafe IT Limited and Softcat and supporters who made this possible. Together, we’re bridging the digital divide and creating opportunities for the next generation of Tanzanians.
